Chamonix

In Chamonix we visited the ice caves, rode the world's highest vertical ascent cable car up to Aiguille du Midi to view Mont Blanc, and hiked through the lower mountains.

It was the last day of the tour and we celebrated together with a wine and cheese party, all bringing a small item to share from the local markets. We couldn't have asked for a better group to tour Europe with, everyone was super fun, and there were NO GRUMPS.

Cheese and Pastry

There are many ways to enjoy melted cheese in the Alps. Chamonix was our last tour night so it seemed the right time to order Raclette. Some restaurants will deliver pre-melted cheese to you, but if you're lucky the restaurant will give you a half round of cheese to melt yourself. It takes a litle practice to melt just the right amount of cheese while not burning yourself. #TheBurnsWereWorthIt

Some useful signage on our hike down to the glacier. I may not know French, but this sign transcends language barriers. La la la, ARF!
